For the Sunday Silverware party I was having a think of what I could bring to the cauldron of ideas over at Gypsy Fish blog. I was thinking that our kitchenware was mostly silver, but I covered that with the grater topic last week. So I was to going to show you my sliver and trinkets I have tucked and put inside
in my pirate ship of treasures, which is also now my jewellery keeper
or feel all giddy like I do every time I look at this exquisite Dragonfly coat hanger which attracted me like a magpie and that I couldn't help but have,
but the real silver magic was happening up in the azure dyed heavens
silver clouds swept across the skies illuminated by the biggest full moon of the year. In itself a silver delight hypnotising all who gaze at her.
I was so enchanted by the moon I thought, "Ah, a moon lit walk along the shore is just what I need and all in the name of the silver blog party, I will venture out and take some snaps."
Needlessly to say, the wind was at gale force, could rip the skin off you with ice, so as I struggled and battled with the wind to get to the end of my path, I took a picture that ended up looking like this
and got the hell back up the stairs for some warmth and heat. Madness.
Here is what I wanted the photo to turn out like, minus the shaking hands and hair whipping me around the face.
The shiny moon! Have a good week everyone!

Friday Town Shoot Out- Up and Down
Today's Friday Shoot Out is the topic " Up and down!"
Sometimes I have days were when I walk down the road to find the gulls are already waiting to be served some heels of bread.
Somedays I look up in the sky and think about lost ones and see somehow, they are thinking of me too,
But today I was out on my lunch break, reliving the memory of my night before, reading the Chronicles of Narnia thinking what a wonderful book it was, when I looked up and it had started to snow! It only lasted 15 minutes but it was lovely to have my wee piece of Narnia!
but the sun had set as I walked home and looking up, I saw the moon was rising
and as I got to my door, I looked up again the glow of the moon was a thrilling backdrop to a haunted looking house.
and a wee while after I got home, the buzzer of the front door went.
I went down the stairs, (One staircase wee doggie is not too fond of going up, strangely)
to find a old friend at the door! She had to dash, but thought I might be able to do something she handed to me in a bag. With hugs of sorry and goodbyes she thrust the bag at me and shimmied down the path. When calling out, asking her what was it, she called out "It will love it here. It needs a bit of light!" and was gone.
Now what did she say, it needs a bit of light or keep it away from light? Oh God, it's not a gremlin is it? I swept up the stairs eager to see my treasure. I cautiously opened the bag to see this poor soul.
Light? A sunbed couldn't save what I think is (was) a winter berry plant. As I looked down on it, I realised it never stood a chance with my lovely friend as she has never had any interest in plants whatsoever. In fact she doesn't like them. Ahh well, I put it beside the lamp in vain hope of artificial sunlight. Happy Friday to you!

My Friday Shoot - Sounds in your town
For this Friday town Shoot thatNanu picked out I am ashamed of myself. Why? Because this Friday town shoot is coming from Liverpool, sounds of the Beatles!! I should be down Matthew Street, or taking pictures of the yellow submarine!
But time has creeped up on me again, but I have an excuse, (kinda) I was making this new photography blog. Trying to be more organised and such. Sigh. I will use this blog for my Friday town shoots out and other wee gems. It is also good because it stores my photos! Ah ha!
So here is my Friday town Shootout. (From my window. Ahem.)
In the morning in the sunrise light, the noises I hear arethe birds singing the praises of the morning sun
I hear the boats going by, with the anchor banging against the bow making a ghostly clanging noise to make it's presence known giving beat to the wind chimes song.
but when the sun sets
and the moon comes out
The ghostly ship returns, like a crocodile gliding through a silent sea.
